A Day in Paradise, HertfordshireOn August 16, 2019 by admin
This week, we took a walk on the wild side and visited Paradise Wildlife Park in Broxbourne, Herts. It’s not the biggest zoo, but they’ve got a great selection of animals and the size made it a bit more manageable. I guess that’s why there were so many younger families there. Plus, there’s a whole load of other things for the kids to do: adventure playground, mini-golf, splashzone, dinosaur trail.
While Global Gran liked the rare white lions best, the Kid Explorers were squealing with delight in the Angkor Reptile Temple. One look at the humongous reticulated python, though, and I was outta there!
We took a picnic and got the wasps very excited by noshing on ice-cream and doughnuts from one of the kiosks. Then we had a game of safari-themed mini-golf, which I have to say the Kid Explorers are getting pretty good at. I’m pretty sure Global Gran and I are getting worse!
